When you are working with any brush tools (Paintbrush or Blob brush) in Adobe Illustrator then the best tool for editing your artwork is the eraser tool. You can find the eraser tool just below the blob brush tool in the tool panel of the Adobe Illustrator.
If you click and hold down the eraser tool option, you will see the fly-out menu where there are other tools like Scissors tool and Knife.
These brushes were introduced in the CS4 version of Adobe Illustrator. To select these brushes, click the ‘brush’ icon from the toolbar in the left side of the Adobe Illustrator Interface.
